It's that time of the year again -- those blasted Japanese beetles are back. They've been munching on my roses and hollyhocks. The leaves are becoming lacy shells of themselves, kinda pretty in a bizarre way.

What eats those beetles? They look too big for ladybugs? But the lacey leaves are actually pretty . . . Kat
Kat, nothing much eats the little pests. They are probably 1/2" of so long. The birds don't seem to take any interest in them. The only think I've found that will kill them (in addition to my foot) is Sevin. But it's a white powder insecticide that leaves a coating of white on everything.
