We spent a most enjoyable afternoon Sunday at the 162nd annual Muskingum County Fair. That's what I'll blog about for the rest of this week -- I did take a picture or two! Let's start with the food -- that's where we started, lunch at one of the many church tents.
Rolling Plains United Methodist Church -- fresh corn on the cob!
Anyone for an elk burger. . .
And here's some of the many other food trailers. . .

Oh, I love fairs - we don't have really good ones in Alabama. Your photos are great too.
I haven't been to a fair in ages...your photos make me want to go to one again. :)
the fair...is a...veritable smorgasbord, orgasbord....
remember...the rat, I can't remember his name, from Charlotte's Web, the animated movie, the original (I think there's a recent remake) - he got so stuffed at the fair and sang that song...Ripley? Tiddly? Rumpley? I can't think of his name
uh-oh, I hear thunder, better go do MY daily picture!
Fairs have the best food!
