We call these the little democrats -- miniature donkeys. On my way to the bulk food store the other day, I had to stop and take pictures of these little guys and gals. The farm has about 20 or so of them -- for sale if you all want one or two, or more.

Mom, leave me alone. Out of the picture was mom, nudging and gently kicking this little donkey to get up. The little guy finally did get up.

Miniature donkeys? Just pets or workers? Hmmm. . .didn't we have a goat theme on the group a week or so ago? Now both you and Iris post Donkeys - anyone got elephants nearby? LOL
Oh I love elephants - but none near here that I know of. And, I guess the ones down the road from me are miniatures too - but they were way to far out in the field to get good pictures. Your photos are great!
I purposely did my miniature donkeys today to follow up on Iris. I think the little donkeys are just pets, but they could probably pull a little cart.
