DAY 188 - Y-Bridge in Winter

Here's the Y-Bridge in winter -- there's a little ice along the shoreline on the right. The river up and downstream is solid ice. The movement of the water over the dam upstream and the confluence of the two rivers coming together creates enough current to keep the water reasonably icefree around the bridge.

DAY 1 -- 365 DAYS IN ZANESVILLE & MUSKINGUM COUNTY, OHIO

HERE WE GO -- 365 Days in Pictures of Muskingum County, in SE Ohio. Zanesville is the largest city in the county -- home of the famous Y-Bridge (you know, go to the center of the bridge and turn right!). Then there's New Concord, home of astronaut and Senator John Glenn -- Dresden, the Longaberger Basket town -- Roseville, used to be the pottery capital, but not too much left now -- and other little burgs with interesting history and sites.
