DAY 91 - Little Red Outhouse

Pretty red house and its matching outhouse! I love the little crescent moon cutout on the side of the outhouse.

DAY 90 -- More Fall Eye Candy

Old sycamore tree on the river bank

We stopped at a little country church -- what a peaceful little spot. We talked with two of the church ladies who said you can often find the pastor sitting under the trees smoking his pipe, looking across the road at the river.

DAY 89 - A Little Fall Color for You

We look a long ride -- both Saturday and Sunday -- to search out some fall color. Did we ever find some!

We drove parallel to the Muskingum River for awhile, then crossed the river and headed into the hills and hollers of southern Muskingum county. Color is about a week away from peak.

DAY 88 - Salem UM Church

This little white church with the hard-to-miss red doors is off on a little country road on the way to Adamsville. It was established and built in 1900. This young man stopped while we were there to deliver the bulletins for the Sunday service.

The old water well head stands out against the soybean field. The church is surrounded by farm fields -- soybeans and corn.

And like most old country churches, there's the graveyard across the road.

DAY 87 - Fall in the Fields

The green field corn stalks are now brown. Soybean fields are yellowing. Fall's here.

DAY 86 - Foggy Morn

It's a foggy morning today.

I didn't notice the spider webs on the leaves and flowers until I looked at the pictures.

DAY 85 - Gorilla Anyone?

Quality Imports off of Rt. 40 West has quite a display of large concrete animals in their front yard. I'm not sure if these big guys are for sale, or just for display to get your attention -- which they certainly do. You'd need a forklift to move any of these guys even an inch.
